The Rock Hill Athletic Department announces several new hires. Dan Johnston will be the new boys and girls Cross Country Coach. He currently serves as the FCA Chaplain for Winthrop University athletics and has an excellent running background. Mallorie Easlick is the new athletic trainer. She comes to Rock Hill High after working seven years as athletic trainer for Chester High School. She will replace long time Bearcat athletic trainer Walt Gainey who is retiring from athletic training. David Thomas will be the new boys and girls Track Coach. He comes to Rock Hill High from Lugoff Elgin High School where he coached football and track. He will also coach football for the Bearcats. Shannon Kuhl will coach girls golf as Matt Bell has stepped down a year for family additions. Sasha Weinsz will take over the boys and girls swim job. She replaces Elizabeth Berger. Sharon Oates will be the new athletic secretary replacing Cissie Center who is retiring.
