Practice for all spring sports will begin February 3rd as the end of the winter season begins to wind down. All sports require a physical to be uploaded into planetHS – Click here for instructions https://s3-us-west-2.amazonaws.com/sportshub2-uploads-prod/files/sites/935/2019/06/10154731/PlanetHS-Instructions.docx . Students must also be academically eligible from first semester grades (if eligible first semester – need to pass two courses first semester, if ineligible, need three courses passed first semester).
The following is the first three days of practice and times for each sport:
Softball – Practice begins Monday, Feb 3rd from 4:30-6:30 at Rock Hill High Softball Field – same times for Feb. 4 & 5 – bring glove, tennis shoes, and cleats
Baseball – Practice begins Monday, Feb 3rd from 4:00-6:00 (varsity and JV) and 5:00-7:00 (C Team) Times will be same for Feb. 4 & 5
Boys Golf – Practice will begin Wednesday, Feb 5th from 4:15 – sunset at Rock Hill Country Club – must have own clubs and proper attire required – same times Feb 6 & 7
Boys Soccer – Practice will begin Monday, Feb 3rd from 4:00-6:00 at district three stadium for both varsity and JV. Feb. 4th from 5:00-7:00 and 5th from 4:00-6:00
Girls Soccer – Practice will begin Monday, Feb 3rd from 4:00-5:30 at RHHS on band field for both JV and varsity. Same time Feb. 4th. Feb 5th time is from 4:00-5:00 on same field
Boys Tennis – Practice begins Monday, Feb 3rd from 4:00-6:00 at the RHHS Tennis Courts – bring your own racket. Same times Feb. 4 & 5
Boys and Girls Track – Practice begins Monday, Feb. 3rd from 4:00-6:00 pm at the RHHS Track. Same times Feb. 4 & 5
**Middle school school students zoned for RHHS not participating in a middle school winter sport can try out for C Team Baseball, Boys Tennis, Boys Golf, Boys and Girls Soccer. If the middle school offers the sport, middle schoolers must play at the middle school level.
**High School Students participating in a winter sports cannot tryout for a spring sport until their winter sport is complete.
