Bearcats News · Senior Painted Parking Spots!

The Bearcat Backers, in conjunction with the administration of Rock Hill High School, is offering a unique opportunity for the Senior students. Seniors are invited to paint their own parking spot to increase school pride and camaraderie. Students are encouraged to express themselves through positive artwork, to beautify the campus, to build school spirit, to begin a Senior tradition and to support their class. As a byproduct, we believe this fundraiser will increase campus security. Having student’s park in reserved spots can also help identify unwelcome visitors to campus if they park in student spots.

Purchasing a Reserved Senior Parking Space allows the purchasing Senior student to personalize his/her assigned space by painting it. Funds raised will be collected by the Bearcat Backers Association to support student athletes and sports programs. Reserving and painting parking spaces is a privilege rather than a right. This fundraising opportunity will benefit many students, as well as provide convenience not previously afforded. “NON-RESERVED” or “General” parking spaces will continue to be available for Senior students who do not wish to purchase and decorate a parking spot.

If you are interested in this opportunity, complete the Senior Painted Parking Spots Application 2020-2021 and submit the application along with payment no later than September 2nd, 2020 by 3pm.
