Girls Soccer to host Pancake Breakfast Saturday

The Rock Hill Girls Soccer Team will host a pancake breakfast fundraiser on Saturday morning 8:00-10:00 am in the school’s cafeteria. Tickets can be purchased from the team members and coaches or walk-ups are welcome. Food and drink are $6.00 with proceeds going to the girls soccer program.   Thank you for your support –

Lady Cats defeat Mauldin, Travel to Spring Valley Tonight

The Rock Hill Lady Bearcats advanced to the second round of the AAAA playoffs with a 48-30 win over Mauldin Thursday night. The Lady Cats have little time to celebrate and they hit the road tonight to face Region IV Champion Spring Valley at 7:00 pm. Spring Valley defeated Greenwood in its first round matchup.

Spring Sport Scrimmages re-adjusted due to Weather

Extreme winter conditions have affected the spring sport scrimmage schedule this week. The Girls Soccer scrimmage scheduled Tuesday vs PAC has been moved to Monday, February 23rd and tomorrow’s scrimmage vs AJ has been moved to Wednesday, February 25th. Wrestling defeats Fort Dorchester, Wins 18th State Championship

The Rock Hill Wrestling Team continued its state dominance with their 18th state championship downing Fort Dorchester 45-24 for its second straight AAAA title. The Cats had to come from behind using its lower weight classes as the upper weights fell down 21-6 early. The Bearcats then won 7 out of the last 8 matches

Winter/Spring Meet the Bearcats Thursday Evening

The Winter/Spring Sports Meet the Bearcats will be held in the school’s F Gym with food/apparel being sold starting at 6:00 pm and program beginning at 7:00pm. All winter and spring sports teams will be introduced. Meet the Bearcats is open to the public.

Wooden signs with Montreat College

Lee Wooden, senior cross country and track star at Rock Hill High, signed his National Letter of Intent to attend Montreat College in Black Mountain, NC. Wooden came to a decision based on the availability of his major – youth ministry. His decision came after visits to King College and Presbyterian College. Coach Chris Chandler

Bearcats Advance 14 to Upperstate Individuals, Crown Five Region Champions

Five Rock Hill Bearcat Wrestlers were crowned Region Champions and the Cats advanced all fourteen wrestlers to upperstate at the Region III AAAA meet this past Saturday.
